Cotton warp and handspun, hand dyed weft. Red accent is acrylic. This scarf started as a bag of raw Corriedale fleece. Then I dyed it. Then I combed it. Then I spun it into thick-and-thin (slub) and thin yarn. Then I plied those together really tight. Then I plied two of those together to make it into a funky yarn. Then I put them on the loom Then wove wove wove. You can see the process in these two blog entries: [Video] Spinning – Slub plying Experiment – Crazy Yarn Approximately 12.5″ wide and 57″ long, including fringes. Handwash, dry flat.
